Masjid Solutions: Donation Kiosk

Kiosk is a computer terminal feature that includes both hardware and software design. KIOSK is easier to use, safer to donate to, self-service, and streamlined. Increase your fund by using a KIOSK in your mosque.

Masjid Solutions can assist you with any aspect of your donation kiosk. We addressed all kinds of updates and fixed the Kiosk tab in full-screen mode during setup.

Once every two weeks, an authorized mosque caretaker should restart the kiosk and get the contribution screen up and running in full-screen mode. We also propose that the caretaker inspect the kiosk every day with a short glance, just as they do with other mosque peripherals.

The kiosk then advances to a screen where a user must log in. After the restart, you must log in and get the kiosk up and running for donations.

It’s also important to keep an eye on your internet connection. The Kiosk does not accept donations if the connection is lost. A mosque caretaker should inspect the Kiosk every day, including its configuration and internet connections.

Geist Community Center Adopts Masjid Solutions Tools

“A MASJID FOR ALL” is what Geist Community Center is

Their mission statement reads, “A diversified Islamic Community irrespective of race, age, skin color, financial status and country of origin. Consistent with the principles and teachings of Islam.”

Muslims at a small Indiana town have built a mosque that is inviting and open to all. Smell of fresh paint has not waned yet. We were there to help the wonderful folks at Geist Community Center install their new Masjid Solutions Kiosk. We showed up a a couple hours before Salat Ul Asr.

We loved the wide open layout of the Musalla. A few adults and a few children we quietly reciting Quran.

Muzaffar, a devotee at the mosque was very handy. We really did not have to say or do much. In less than an hour got the kiosk up and running.

AL Salam has embarked on an epic journey to build their permanent home, Islamic Life Center. They recently achieved zoning approval on their land and they are ready break the ground next spring. Groups have been formed, fundraisers are scheduled, and tools are in place to open the doors and windows for all folks to give.

AL Salam is excited about their newest tool to raise money for the ILC.

The Al Salam congregation is a diverse group. They have been holding prayers in rented small office space south of 96th Street. Members include ex-patriots from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and their American-born children, as well as converts to the faith. Members are drawn mostly from Carmel, Westfield and Zionsville area.

Congregation has struggled for years to find land in Carmel available for sale for their mosque. With the zoning approval, leadership is finally able to move forward with exciting part of building a mosque: that is building a mosque. Technology is a part of raising healthy level of donations from many folks in and around the area.

How would we update the prayer times?

You will be getting a secure admin login where you can load up whole month’s or year’s prayer schedule. Once loaded, Kiosk will automatically begin showing your mosques prayer times. Should you need any help, we would be more than happy to help you, InshaAllah.

What are the hardware requirements for the kiosk?

You’ll need the following:

1 Microsoft Surface Pro – 12.3″ Touch Screen tablet.
1 Credit card swipe machine
Mounting hardware
